i guess it would depend on where you are but a few extra calls a month never really hurt me.Ĭlick to expand.i really don't think there is a best way to generate leads. they put you on a few other website too, but for me the real value came from that yp listing. i was paying hundreds of dollars for a listing with these guys, and as soon as i realized that i could get a free one through electrical repair men, i cancelled my original listing. they are giving me a free listing on yp.com. the support girl i spoke to for that was really sweet and didnt have a problem with it at all.ĥ. i also called them up to pause my account over the holidays when i was taking a vacation with my family. i dont have to worry about paying for not getting any calls.
i have no problem paying for a lead if i have a good chance of making some money off of it.Ĥ. in general however, i have been making more than i put in to the service. the next month i didnt make quite as much as i wanted to out of the calls. my first month i got 6 good calls, and landed a generator job and a panel upgrade from that.
you make some money, and you lose some money. alot of the other "leads" i got from other companies were total bs, and was a pain to get credited for.ģ. only needed to submit 3 of those since i started. they give you a call recording for each call, which is helpful because i was able to get a few bogus calls credited based on the recording. I'm sure some of the customers call more than one electrician, but i feel much better about the lead when i get to ACTUALLY talk to them.Ģ. the customers call you, so they dont share the lead with a bunch of contractors which i like alot. i was about to blow him off and he told me up-front and honestly exactly what he was offering me so i gave him a listen. Then some kid called me out of the blue looking for a contractor to refer work to him. I've used other services like service magic, red Beacon, and networx and i was about ready to call it quits on lead generation in general. I've used these guys for the past 5 months.
